Sometimes I open it just to look at my car from the kitchen window. Anybody else do this?

I probably would if I had a garage :(

One car garage, two cars. Between mine and my wife’s cars you can guess which one is in the garage, not that I could see inside the garage from in the house anyway.

Not at home, but I park it at a certain spot in the office lot so I can see it as I go about my day.

The garage of your dreams isn’t as far away as it seems!

Nope :)
But my car isn’t quite as much of a looker.

Would if I could. If I want to look into the garage I have to look through the window in the mud/dog/ storage room.

Sometimes I do it because I still can’t believe that it’s my Miata in that garage.

Is that even legal?
No bumper, sharp corners on the front of the bonnet, sharp edges, exposed internals, missing a wiper arm, etc...
That would get up to and no further past a police car, vehicle inspectorate car, slightly further past a CCTV camera that then called the police.

Assuming he’s in the United States it depends on the state. In my state, Ohio, there are no inspections and you can get away with just about anything.

All I would have to do is put the turn signals back on, and it would be fully legal. Actually, if I used hand signals, I could just drive it on the street as is. I don’t have it registered or insured though, as I have no interest in driving in on the street. I flat-tow it to the rallycross track.
